This ongoing fine art portrait project ((2022–present)) is inspired by Old Master paintings, particularly those from the Renaissance and Medieval periods. Featuring Robert Tilley—my 77-year-old best friend from Newfoundland—as its sole subject, the series transcends time, paying homage to great masterpieces while blurring the line between photography and painting. More than just artistic creations, these portraits are a reflection of our deep friendship, capturing both the passage of time and the enduring essence of human connection.
